The Podcast
We’re all geeky about something.
In this podcast, I interview geeky people about geeky things. The goal is to focus on the culture of geek media (e.g., comics, television shows, movies, gaming, online media, science, etc.), enjoying our obsessions while still managing to look at them through a critical lens. Listen as I discover why people do what they do and how they got where they are.
The podcast started as an offshoot of my master’s thesis (which was called G33K Out). It’s a combination of interviews (both individual and the occasional red carpet), roundtable discussions (where I get some friends to discuss a topic of interest), and my more academic series of Geek Girl interviews (from when it was still called G33K Out with Angie Fiedler Sutton).
You can find out where to listen here, see the list of episodes available here, and even check out the transcripts.
Interested in Being On the Podcast?
If you’re interested in being on my podcast, you’re more than welcome to contact me. However, I already have quite an extensive list of people on my potential interview list. With this being a monthly podcast, it’s likely that if I am interested, it’s going to be a while before I get to you.
