If you’re a filmmaker, you have just two more days for the late submission deadline on the 13th Annual Science Fiction + Fantasy Short Film Festival.

The festival is a partnership between the Museum of Pop Culture and the Seattle International Film Festival, with prior featured films getting national distribution, and some even getting nominated for Academy Awards.

The call to entries opened July 1, with the late submission deadline September 30. The films need to be up to 15 minutes in length, produced after 2013, and can be either animated or live action as well as science fiction or fantasy. The entry fee is $40 until September 30, and then there’s an extension of late submission deadline until October 13, with the fee at $50.

A panel will review the submissions, with a jury determining winners based on originality, quality, artistic merit, innovation, voice, style, and narrative.

For more information, including how to submit your film and a link to the full rules and regulations, visit the festival’s page on MoPOP’s website.
