Once upon a time, the internet was new, fresh, and awkward. Almost everyone had what was called ‘dial up’ and the speeds were slower than a snail. You had to host your own videos on your own website (if you even HAD a website), and the files were not small.

Then, lo – someone thought to create a website that would host the videos FOR you, and the mighty YouTube was born. But verily, it was not taken seriously by most people, and the land was filled with cat videos, funny home videos, and – of course – porn.
