WonderCon 2025 Interview: Artist Randal “R.K.” Milholland

Something*Positive is a ‘day in the life’ webcomic that follows the main character of Davin MacIntire and his group of friends. Started in 2001, it is loosely based on the life and friends of creator Randal “R.K.” Milholland, and is darkly funny, skewering everyone and everything it can. It is sweet and sad and preposterous and honest: sometimes all at once. Read the interview at The Geekiary.

WonderCon 2025 Interview: Andy Nordvall, Kaj Kunstmann, and Bad Future Vol. 1

Andy Nordvall understands that crowdfunding an anthology comic that is dystopian science fiction might be an odd choice in today’s political environment. “It’s funny you mentioned that, because it was less relevant when we started,” he said with a laugh. “There was this moment of like, ‘Should we do this?’ People can just open up a news thing.” Read the full interview over at The Geekiary.

I had the opportunity of attending the panel (and witnessing the red carpet beforehand). Read the full write-up at The Geekiary.

International Women’s Day 2025: Celebrating Trans Women

It is once again International Women’s Day! Every year, we at The Geekiary aim to highlight spectacular ladies, whether it be campaigning for certain biopics or spotlighting women who are masters of their craft. Be they fictional or not. This year, given the current political climate in the United States, we’ve chosen to focus on trans women.

I didn’t write this, but I did help contribute to it. Read the full article at The Geekiary.
